Terms of Service
Effective Date: 01/01/2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the agreement between The Walking Billboard (“Designer,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) for website design services. By purchasing and engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Work
Website design services include the creation of up to 4 pages based on the package purchased at checkout.
The Designer will collaborate with one primary client contact throughout the project.
Unlimited revisions are included within the agreed-upon timeline (see Section 2).
2. Timeline & Checkpoints
The project timeline will be determined at checkout (1–4 weeks).
The Designer will provide a project guideline with weekly checkpoints (Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4).
Revisions are unlimited as long as they do not delay the agreed timeline.
If Client revisions or delays push the project off schedule, the Designer may adjust deadlines accordingly.
3. Additional Work & Pages
Any request to add more than 4 pages will require:
An additional fee for the extra work.
A new agreement to reflect updated scope and schedule.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client must provide all necessary content (text, images, branding materials, etc.) by the dates outlined in the guideline.
The Client is responsible for timely communication and feedback to keep the project on track.
5. Payment
Payment terms and fees will be clearly stated at checkout.
Any additional services beyond the original scope will be invoiced separately and require written approval.
6. Revisions & Approval
Unlimited revisions are included within the project timeline.
Once final approval is given by the Client, the project is considered complete. Further changes will require a new agreement and additional fees.
7. Ownership & Rights
Upon full payment, the Client will own the final website design.
The Designer retains the right to showcase the completed project in portfolios, marketing, and promotional materials.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the time and effort involved in design services, all payments are non-refundable.
If the Client wishes to terminate the project early, all work completed up to the cancellation date will remain the property of the Designer until full payment is received.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Designer is not responsible for technical issues, hosting problems, third-party platform errors, or delays caused by the Client.
The Designer does not guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g., sales, traffic, search rankings).
10. Agreement
By checking out and engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
